Momentum Transport Canada continues growth with the appointment of Elena Hagiu

Momentum Canada welcomes Elena as a Project Manager 

Elena is a Transportation Engineer and Project Manager based in the Montreal office. A member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), she graduated from Polytechnique Montréal in 2022. She brings more than four years of experience gained at the engineering consulting firm Arup in Montreal, where she contributed to transportation and mobility projects across Canada and the United States. 

Elena has diverse experience in transportation planning and multimodal mobility, working with real estate developers, public agencies, and public transit organizations. She has conducted transportation studies for real estate development projects throughout Canada, as well as analyses involving various transportation modes, including ferries, light rail transit (LRT), streetcars, and bus systems. Her expertise also includes the planning and design of multimodal transit hubs and bus terminals, as well as pedestrian modeling for metro stations and high-capacity venues such as stadiums and entertainment facilities. 

At Momentum, Elena aims to leverage the experience she has gained on mobility projects across Canada and the United States to support the development of innovative projects. She collaborates with clients to design integrated transportation solutions that promote accessibility, multimodal connectivity, and sustainable mobility. 

Regarding her appointment, Elena stated: “Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of mobility projects across Canada and the United States. I am excited to bring this experience to Momentum and help our clients develop innovative transportation solutions that improve mobility and enhance the quality of life in the communities they serve.”
